Obituary of Gerald D. Arnold

Gerald D. “Jerry” Arnold, 71 formerly of 2249 Shannon Drive, Iowa City died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at the Iowa City Health Care and Rehab Center. Jerry was born August 6, 1935, in Iowa City the son of Zack and May (Hanson) Arnold. He married Nadine Marie White October 27, 1973 in Cedar Rapids. He has spent most of his life in the Iowa City area as a self-employed sub contractor, most recently with Briskey Cabinet of Coralville. His family includes his children, Mya Arnold Ross of North Liberty, and J.D. Arnold and his wife, Nikki of North Liberty, grandchildren, MacKenzie, Mason, Hannah, and True Man; and his former wife, Nadine Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Frances Maske, Kenneth Arnold, Herald Arnold, Merle Arnold, Eugene Arnold, Kathryn Shonka,and Donald Arnold. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City provided cremation services, and care for Jerry’s family. At his request, no other services will follow.
