Condolences
I want to express my sincere sympathy to David's family on his passing. I met David once at his mother's house in the fall of 1983. I was a close college friend of his sister Sarah and had been given the opportunity to take her home from college where we were studying at Iowa State University in Ames, IA. It was a brief encounter, but memorable. I am deeply saddened to learn this week not only of his passing, but of Sarah's too; and her's over 10 years ago. My deepest condolences go out to all who knew both of them.
A wonderful soul and very talented. He is in God's Kingdom with is sister, Sarah, who was a dear friend of mine.
So sorry for your loss. Much too soon. My thoughts are with you.
David never ceased to capture my attention. He was respectful and certainly a gentle soul. Although he spoke few words at work, he gained my respect nonetheless. I will miss his unique character. My condolences to his family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
My condolences to Susie, Ed, Martha, and Betty. David was a gentle soul and the world was richer for having him in it. Words fail at these times but know we all care greatly for you and are here for you.
David came to First Christian Church on a regular basis---he was quiet and respectful, contributed to potlucks and I was able to have brief conversations with him. I had previously scored at Pearsons with him, and would chat about projects and work.
I admired David. He had a persistence that, despite the challenges he experienced in life, brought him to church very regularly. I hope and pray that he is in a place where communication is easy and laughter is frequent.
Sorry to hear of this Susie and Ed....David was a good worker and one you could depend on to pull his own weight at work...He worked so intently that when there were treats at work ...I had to remind him so he did not miss out
What very sad news. David was a long-time member of the Pearson family. He worked on a number of my projects - always punctual, present, and without a doubt an extraordinarily accurate and devoted scorer. He was a man who took his commitment to our learners very seriously. In nearly 20 years, I've never heard him utter a single disparaging word about anything. He was indeed one-of-a-kind, and he will be sorely missed by those of us who've been lucky enough to work with and know him.
Martha and family members,
I support you, Betty and Susie with our love and prayers. We are out of state and cannot hug you in person.
My sincere condolences. David was a unique and very talented person. We were in the same 3rd grade class together. He played music beautifully. I remember him playing the violin at this time. 3rd grade was one of my better years in elementary school. David definitely added to the colorfulness of that class. Best wishes to Martha. I wish you well.
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending you and your family healing thoughts and prayers for peace, in this very difficult time. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.
I was in David's high school class. I first met him in orchestra at Central Junior High. I recognized he was a talented musician immediately. I am saddened to learn of his passing. Prayers for Peace, and Comfort during this time of loss.
Dear Betty,
I remember David in school. He was quiet and studious. He always had a shy smile for a joke and an interest in learning. My prayers are with all of the family. We have lost David too early. Julie Goodspeed Molzahn City High 1979

This is certainly a sad day. I was one year ahead of David in high school. He was a quiet individual. I had been out of the country many years, but I have often wondered as the years passed, what had become of David and what he was doing. My condolences to the family. May David rest in peace.
