Obituary of John Jeffries

John Miles (Jack) Jeffries II Jack Jeffries 64 of Amsterdam, Netherlands lost his battle with cancer on December 9th He attended Iowa City High School graduating 1963 and the University of Iowa graduating with a degree in Journalism. He worked as a journalist for the Cedar Rapids Gazette and the Iowa City Press Citizen. In 1971 he moved to Holland and worked in the insurance business while pursuing his passion as an artist. He was preceded in death by his father John Miles(Jack) Jeffries I, who passed away in 1987. And most recently his mother Marion Jeffries, who at age 92, passed away on October 19th. He is survived by his brother Steve who with his wife Tammy live in Eugene Oregon and, his favorite Aunt, Betty Hersman of Iowa City.
