Obituary of Tina Marie O'Leary

Tina M. O’Leary, 39 of Lone Tree died in her home, Saturday, February 21, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2009, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. A memorial fund has been established for her three children. Online condolences may be sent for her family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com. Tina Marie O’Leary was born July 5, 1969, in Iowa City. Her family moved to Loveland, Colorado where she attended Thompson Valley High School. She returned to Iowa nearly 15 years ago where she has lived in the Lone Tree area. Tina worked at the Riverside Casino as a dealer at the poker tables. She loved her job, enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, liked working in the garden, playing golf, but most of all, her three children were the center of her universe! Her family includes her three children, Kati, Leanne, and Matthew; her parents, Pam and Pete Montoya of Loveland, CO; and Allen O’Leary of Oxford; her siblings, Tony (Tammy) O’Leary of Williamsburg, IA, Bryan (Liz) Montoya of Greeley, CO, Marissa Harter of Greeley, CO, and Veronica Eveland (Vern Tripses) of Lone Tree; grandfather, Jim Walsh of Lone Tree; nieces and nephews, Anthony and Katlyn Kaefring-O’Leary, Klarrissa and Kyle Harter, Jordan and Jayce Montoya, and Jessica and Chase Tripses; numerous cousins, other family, friends, and her significant other, Dirk Marple Sr. of Iowa City. She was met at Heaven’s gates by her grandparents, Roy and Ester O’Leary and Ida Walsh. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for Tina’s family and her services.
