Obituary of Timothy Goodwin

Timothy Goodwin, 53 of Iowa City died Monday, May 25, 2009. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Tim was born January 6, 1956, in Detroit, MI, the son of Robert F. and Mary T. (Sheppard) Goodwin. In 1963 his family moved to California where he attended and graduated from high school. Tim moved to this area in the late 1980’s. Here he has a passion for working as a mechanic on high performance engines, mostly in motorcycles. He married Lynn Tisinger on January 7, 1995, in Iowa City. His family includes his wife, Lynn; children all at home, Timothy Jr., Christian, and Jacob; father and his wife, Robert and Dianne Goodwin of Phoenix, AZ; mother and her husband, Mary and Gus Nai of Citrus Heights, CA; sisters, Robyn Morris of Citrus Heights,CA, Katherine (Stephen) Marks of Los Angles, CA; brother, Gary Goodwin (Pat) of Simi Valley, CA; and Tim’s aunt, Janet Goodwin of Manhattan, IL. Tim was preceded in death by his uncles, Richard Goodwin and Russell Goodwin.
