Obituary of Amil L. Baines, Sr.

Amil L. Baines 55 longtime resident of Iowa City died Tuesday, July 28, 2009. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2009, at the V.F.W. in Iowa City. Amil was a man with a free spirit, one who enjoyed playing pool, hanging with family and friends, and one who was a friend to many. His family includes three children, Wade, Adam, and Amil Jr.; brothers, sisters, and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jonathan, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
