Condolences
Suzanne,
We both want to share our deepest sympathy and let you know we are thinking of you. Although as we well know since the loss of Debbie that there is very little we can do or say to ease the pain of your loss. We just hope our words of sympathy will help comfort you today and let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I did not know Nicholas, but I am a friend of Suzanne and want to express my condolences. Being related to Suzanne would automatically make Nicholas a good person ......
Suzanne, please know that I am thinking of you...
Patti and Suzanne,
I heard only yesterday (Saturday) in an email from DJM that Nicolas had died a week ago. I know you are experiencing excruciating pain that dims everything else. My heart hurts for you. I pray that you find comfort from the only true Source of comfort in terrible, indescribable pain...Jesus. For in Him only, is true life and true comfort of the soul found.
I looked for each of you on facebook, but didn't find you. I'd rather have sent you each a private message.
I know that we've not seen each other for many years, but I've not forgotten either of you. Please feel free to contact me if you ever want a listening ear! You know that I mean that.
I knew Nick while I was in college at Iowa. Hearing of his passing saddens me deeply. Nick had a beautiful soul. He was kind, thoughtful, and sincere. He was an excellent conversationalist and we spent many warm afternoons chatting over coffee in the Ped Mall. My deepest condolences and warmest thoughts go out to his family and friends. May you find peace during this difficult time.
Patti, Lorry, and Suzanne,
Dear Patti, Suzanne, & Lorry,
Nicolas entered my mind many times this week before I learned of his passing. I didn't know why but now I know he was saying goodbye. We connected on a level that most others wouldn't understand. Thank you Lorry & Suzanne for allowing me to come over when Nick was staying there. I loved him and my heart aches for you.
Julia
I am deeply saddened by this news. Nick was one of the kindest, purest hearts I've ever known. I haven't been in touch with him in years but always hoped he found the kind of selfless love that he so easily shared with others. He was good and sensitive and warm and I am better having known him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and to his sweet, beloved pets. You won't be forgotten, Nick.
To the family of Nicholas, our prayers and thoughts are with you as you grieve the loss of your beloved son...peace and love to you all.
Thinking of you Patti. I know there are no words. I remember Nick when we were younger....I always thought he was so sweet and cute. You are in my prayers!
May your gentle spirit be in the light now and always.
Patti sorry to hear about Nicks passing. He was a beautiful child and I remember him growing up when I worked at the birthplace with you. My prayers are with you and everyone who loved Nick. Kathy Wittmer
Beautiful Boy Nicholas,
May you return to the basic goodness, health, and wakefulness that you were born with. Friends and family, from near and far, are saying goodbye, so that you may find calm and peace as you move on.
Nicholas, for you, this poem by way of Allen Ginsberg, who understood:
Song
The weight of the world
is love.
Under the burden
of solitude,
under the burden of dissatisfaction
the weight,
the weight we carry
is love.

Nicholas,
You were my son, I loved you as such, and I always will. I know you struggled for quite sometime but that now you are free. Be at peace my son.
Suzanne,
Thank you for sharing your great loss with us today. We so appreciate your call. There are some wonderful pictures in the photo gallery. We looked at each one. We send our deepest sympathy and want you to know you are in our prayers.
Dear Suzanne, We were deeply saddened to learn of your son's sudden passing. We know what an important, cherished part of your life he was. Our hearts reach out.
My sympathy to you with the death of Nicholas. May you have strength to deal with this loss. Bonnie Thomas
Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Nicholas. We remember him as a sweet little boy who was too young to even make it up the stairs of our townhouse. And he gave us an excuse (as newlyweds) to experience the thrill of hunting down and buying the elusive Cabbage Patch Doll. He will forever remain in our hearts and in our prayers.
I knew Nick for many years and have so many fond memories of our friendship. He was an amazing artist musically as well as many other ways. Seeing him perform was simply inspiring because he was where he wanted to be and where he belonged. His life and struggle touched all who knew him deeply and even though our hearts are breaking to have to say goodbye to our rock star, knowing he's finally at peace and rockin hard as can be for eternity, is where we will begin to heal. Love you dude! One day we'll be able to have that jam session we always talked about! I'll never forget you and how much you meant to us all.
To my Nicholas Kyne:
I will miss you and love you forever. You left life here on earth way too early but I know we will meet in Heaven some day. I know you are surrounded by the music of a multitude of angels! You are my angel and always will be.
Love, Suzanne
I didn't know Nick but your words of family relationship in his write-up says how loved this young man has been.
may the light and life left around you comfort you
Dear Suzanne & Donna, please accept our sincere sympathy. Most of our memories of Nick are from his pre-teen years when he would visit you on the weekends or during the summer. He was such a kind sweet boy, so sorry for your loss

Suzanne, My thoughts are with you and your family at this hard time.
I always loved you, flaws and all. You were, and are, a gentle spirit. I know you went without pain, and I know you never wanted to make others suffer from your passing. But we all loved you, for different reasons, in different ways, and yet, we all suffer, for different reasons and suffer in different ways. We all loved you, and still do. Walk into that brite light and shine as the beautiful, sentient being you always were. See you on the flipside brother.

Patti-
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your son. May you feel all the love surrounding you during this time.
I worked with Nick at Sam's Pizza years ago and will always remember him as a kind, smart, thoughtful, and good person. So grieved about your families' loss and will be praying for Nick and all of his family.
Patti, Aunt Margaret, and Paula,
We share your grief at Nick's untimely death. He was dearly beloved and died too young. Words are inadequate to convey our deep sympathy at your terrible, unimaginable loss. May his soul be at peace in the light and may memories of your special times with him always live in your heart.
Our sincere sympathy to Patti, Suzanne and all of Nick' s family...May Nick be at peace as he was when sharing his talent in music and art and spending time with his doggies. We loved spending time with you all in his youth and now as we continue to pray for you. All our love...
Patti,
I am so sorry for the loss of Nick. Nick and Erik had such a good friendship when they were growing up together. I remember Nick spending so many hours at our house. He was a wonderful person and so kind. I enjoyed having him at our home and the great relationship he and Erik had. My heart is aching for you Patti and I hope you cherish all the beautiful memories of a wonderful son. I am sure he is having the time of his life playing his guitar for God and all the people in heaven.
Charles and I are grief-stricken,especially for his mother Patti, Aunt Paula and Grandmother Margaret, due to their devastating loss of
Nicholas' at his sudden passing. He was a talented and dearly beloved young man....and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he be lovingly welcomed by his Father God into his heavenly home and may he rest in peace in the arms of his SaviorJesus Christ.
Oh dearest Nicholas, you were not long enough with us. Our hearts seem about to burst with grief. What a sweet boy you were, what a good young man...what a dear friend, what a great musician and artist, and if only we could have helped you in your pain and suffering. We would give anything to have helped things to be different for you. You will never be forgotten, as long as anyone who knew you still lives. It is hard to imagine never being able to talk with you again, or to get your opinion on some music or art. If only you could have really known how very much you were loved, if you could have taken that in...perhaps things would have been lighter for you. Now we pray you toward the Light, away from all that Darkness, and toward all that is good in the Universe. With every confidence that you are already there,
Aunt Paula.
