LeRoy John Thomas

Condolences
Thomas Family, Leroy was a great friend and classmate at Mid-Praire HS class of 65. Haven't seen Leroy since then but from reading all the tributes Leroy hadn't changed a bit. Please accept my condolences. Dennis Beckler
Sorry to hear of the passing of your father
You will be missed my friend. Now LeRoy and Naz are truckin together again. 10/4 Fuzzy,
The Lord was merciful in taking Leroy quickly and peacefully. Leroy was a solid, good and decent man. He was an "Old School" Truck Driver in the highest sense of that phrase and there are no doubt dozens of drivers out there today who learned a great deal about what it really means and takes was to be a professional driver. And, no doubt, there are many people who are just a little but better people for having known Leroy. Rest in Peace, Leroy. All thoughts, prayers and condolences to his family and friends.
To The Family of Leroy Thomas, We are deeply sorry for your loss. Dave though alot of Leroy. Leroy was an honest man who worked hard. You always knew where you stood with him. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Dave & Peg
We will always remember LeRoy as a great neighbor! Always offered to lend a hand if a neighbor needed anything. Our two sons, Sean and Justin, always remember this quote from LeRoy: :"Judy, don't forget to bring my steak back home!" This was when Gannon, their gorgeous (however large) dog would occasionally make his escape from their yard, but Judy could always lure that doggie back home with a steak! Our sons were quite young at that time, but they have the fondness memories of LeRoy, Judy, Shelly, Lance, and Gannon's occasional escapades!
LeRoy was a true friend, who loved his family greatly! And he always loved keeping us updated on his grandson, of whom he most proud!
I will miss not having anyone in the neighborhood to "borrow" a postage stamp from....as a matter of fact, I think I still owe him four!
Heaven is now occupied by a very special man!

Met Leroy in 2006 when hired on at Stutsman's as a OTR driver. What a nice man that cared about his family, and his love of driving big trucks ! As a new employee then, Leroy was always there if I had any question about directions or accounts.
We did not know LeRoy well but will always remember him for his friendliness and smile. With deepest sympathy.
I will always have very great memories of LeRoy and your family. I am so sorry for your loss!
Michelle, Lance and Family, I am sorry to hear of your dads passing.
I remember one time when we were over at your place we were climbing the tree in the front yard. Thanks to Michelles dare and Lances egging on. I climbed up one more limb and got stuck. Your dad was down the road at Stutsmans came home and got me out and said something like Looks like we have another tom boy.
Our deepest sympathies for your loss. LeRoy was a lovely, kind man, and a great neighbor, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could! We'll miss seeing him around! Tom and Carrie Coburn, Washington Street, Hills.
