So terribly sorry to hear of you loss. My thoughts and prays are with all of you during this difficult time.
Ann and family, so sorry to hear of Wayne passing. Many fond memories of our time are classmates at Sheffield-Chapin. My brother lives in Cedar Rapids and called me when he saw the announcement.
Ann,
We were so sad to hear about your husband, Wayne. You have been such an important part of the band program at City High. My son, Eric, a former band student and my daughter, Molly, a freshman now, my husband and I send you our deepest sympathy. We want to be there for you as you have always been there for us.
Our best memory of Wayne is the first time Jim and I ever golfed with Wayne and Ann. I can't remember which golf course it was but there is Wayne the first to tee off. He takes a couple of practice swings and then sets up to drive . He places his club on the farside of the ball. Jim and I look at each other and then at Ann. She isn't saying anything about where he has his club so we just watch. To our amazement he hit the ball as straight as a string. Then we both said that was the weirdest golf swing the we have ever seen. We all had a great laugh about it because everybody reacts that way they both said.
Ann, I am SO sorry! I know you will find solace in your family in this time of need. Know that I am thinking of you. Neana
Ann~You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. The obituary is a beautiful tribute to your husband and what was important to him.
My sincere condolences to all of Wayne's family. Cherish the many memories you all have! From reading his obituary, you have much to be thankful for. I will always remember our times together and I have heard many stories of when he was young from Donna and Karla. I will be thinking of you. Kristi

Dear Robinson Family,
I was saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. I worked with Wayne for many years and appreciated his dedication to his job and fellow workers. In addition we had many good times playing in the golf league and sharing a story and a beer afterwards. I will definitely miss his dry sense of humor and quick smile. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.
I had the privilege to be the director of the concert band that Wayne joined, to play timpani, after many years of not having played. In the short time he spent as a member of the Kirkwood Concert Band, he was absolutely dedicated -- arrived early to set things in order, and was always there and ready with his part. His playing, while timid at first, was gaining in strength and confidence with every month that passed. He was a kind and gentle man, and a true gentleman, and our acquaintance was far too short. He will be sorely missed by his fellow musicians.
