Dear Smith Family,

I was very saddened to see the passing of your Father....he was quite a man! He was my dentist in Mt. Vernon after Dr. Harrison left and you never want to change doctors, but this was a very easy transition....Dr. Smith was a very quiet, gentle man and yes, with a dry sense of humor, but I would always get him to laugh about somehting.

So sorry to hear about your Dad, Stephanie. He was such a kind and gentle man and I'm glad I could assistant him when he needed to talk to Ken about his taxes. Ken and I were both sad to hear he was gone - I will miss his phone calls to the office. He was always so kind and patient. Take care.

Especially to Elliott Smith: Your dad was my dentist -- a fine one, & an even finer man. He intentionally seemed to limit the number of his patients so that folks wouldn't wait for hours in his waiting room -- a philosophy that others should copy.
