Dave and Bonnie, I want to express my sympathies to you and your families for the recent passing of your Mother. We used to always see each other at school functions when you were in Tremont. May God bless and comfort your families during this difficult time.
I was really shocked and saddened to see Diane's obituary. I enjoyed her so much and appreciated the help she gave me when she cared for my daughter, Debby. She was just a great person, and I wish we could sit out on her deck again, sipping her famous slushes and laughing it up. My sympathies to all the children and grandchildren.
So sorry to read of DIane's passing. Our condolences to your family.
She was a good person. We certainly missed her at our 60th Class Reunion last year. Our prayers are with your family.
I've missed seeing Diane at the casino; she always knew me and would call my name if I didn't see her first. When she was a nurse with Dr Skaugstad, she was always so friendly and made you feel more like a friend than a patient. I am so sorry for your loss. Diane will be missed by many.
Rick and Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about your mother's death. I remember her from the days when Debbie was coaching Erin in softball and Rick and Gary were playing Little League. Your mom and dad, both were very nice people. After all, they are your parents and you have developed into fine adults too. I had planned to come out to the visitation, but I have gotten to where I hate to drive at night.
So sorry to read in the Des Moines Register about y our Mom. She and I were good friends when we were growing up. We went to the same church, Central Gospel Chapel, were in the same Sunday School class and went to bible camp for many years. Diane hosted many slumber parties and made sure everyone was welcome. She is gone from earth but I am sure her spirit is with her heavenly Father. Someday our whole Sunday School class will be together. I know you will miss her and you will have to rely on your great memories now!! Jennie Tonelli Clay
Dave , Rick, and family. I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. Diane was a great mother, and always treated everyone with kindness. She will be missed. Thinking of you during this sad time.
I enjoyed working with Diane at the medical practice in Coralville many years ago in the 1980's. Working with her was a great joy, we shared many a laugh but still working hard was always her motto.
