I have many fond memories of my brother-in-law, AC, in visiting he and his wife, my sister, Karen in Iowa; the times they came to Montana and my many phone calls with him while he was in the nursing home. He always told me next to Karen, he loved me so very much and I will cherish this for the rest of my life. We always sent 'bear hugs' to each other. His wife to the end, Karen, although she could not be with him, wrote to him every day and called him twice a day. Even when I called him, he would ask me to please have Karen call because he loved to hear her voice.
I am sorry to see the family neglected to have his wife, Karen's name in the obituary. I do hope this was just an accidental oversight.
My sympathy for the loss of their father and grandfather but also to my sister, Karen, for the loss of her husband.
