Dear Family Members,

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of Ruth. We know Sharon and Chuck did everything humanly possible to make Ruth comfortable during the last years of her life, especially the last months since the passing of Alvin. God has another of His children home with Him and Ruth and Alvin are together eternally, praising God and fulfilling His plan for them - the exclaimation point for the life they had shared together proclaiming God's love to all they met!

Oh my , yes I remembered them both. I volunteer at Lantern Park Care Center here in Coralville and they were the very first volunteers there when it was established. Every year they got the prize or honor of being the longest volunteers there. As soon as they no longer came, guess what ?Now I am the longest running volunteer! My Mom lived at Coral Village and knew them also. They were a very great couple. My condolences.
