Theresa, Mike, Patricia and the entire Hoyt family.
I worked with Doris at Hills Bank until August 1986. I often saw her later when I worked at the FECU-it was always a wonderful reunion. She was so full of life and strength. She helped me with so much-not enough room in this message for all she did. I loved working with her and being around her. Her humor, the things she would say out of the blue-cracked me up on the worst days. I wish I would have known sooner, I would have liked to say good-bye to a wonderful soul. Her family was everything and I liked that she was a fighter-that is a complement to her strength and perserverance. Regardless of whatever horrible thing happened (and it did happen at Hills) she helped me get through it and she still figured out how to go on and smile. I love you Doris-so much...you will be missed but I have you still in my heart. You live on...
WHAT A SHOCK to see this today in the paper. I enjoyed working with Doris at the bank in Coralville. Such a strong person, fun to be around with, etc. When I go through my recipe file, I always come across recipes cards that I got from Doris through our years of "potlucks" at the bank. My deepest sympathy to the whole family. Dianna "Brant" Brack

I will always remember Doris and her beautiful smile. Every time I saw her no matter where, she would smile and always took time to stop say "hi". She loved laughing and most of all she loved her family. Doris will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Anna managed to get in touch with about the news of Doris's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. My God be with you all during this time.
