Obituary of Theodore Spivey

Theodore "Ted" Spivey, 93, of Tiffin, died Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Pleasantview Home in Kalona. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2011, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City with Reverend William Reynolds officiating. Ted's family includes his daughter, Adelia "Dee-Dee" Madden (Randy) of Tiffin; granddaughter, Mary Kern (Shea Nangle) of Champaign, IL; former son-in-law, Alan Kern of Tiffin and sisters, Helen Pierce and Evelyn Price of Iowa City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; sons, Russel and Tom; parents; 6 sisters and a brother.
