Sorry to hear that Bob has passed. Weve kind of lost contact over the years but I still rember his smile and that it was a good visit when we had a service call at the farm. Al Breese

We are very saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We traveled many OES miles and had many laughs along the way. Bob's smile and friendliness will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers to Shirley and the rest of the family during this most difficult time. Bob was so proud of his family and always had a smile when he spoke of them. I worked with Shirley on a research unit at UHIC for many years.

I only met Mr. Pate a couple of times when he came to visit Johnson Farms. He liked to talk farming. Our condolences to the whole family. My father also drove a school bus for a long time.

Bob was such a wonderful example of a good man to so many people. He loved his family, his church, his friends. All the wonderful things that the Masons and Eastern Star stood for could be found in Bob's every day life. He and Shirley helped me through some rough times when my husband Paul died. I will miss his smile and gentle caring.

I send my prayers, hugs and tears.

Bob was a good example. He always kept busy around the house or driving the school bus while he was our neighbor in Coralville. He was always very kind and helpful. He will be missed.
