I never had the pleasure to meet Mr. Burch, but I have known John Burch for about 17 years. I have always thought that John might have had mannerism similar to his father and mother. But I was surprised to see the family photo of Mr. Burch with arms folded that confirmed my suspicions. As I have seen John in that posture on many occasion. I know he was a fine man from the son he raised. God bless your family as he comforts you through your loss.

To Donald's Family,

When I heard the news on Friday of Don's passing, I felt as if I had lost my own parent. I am just thankful I was never the recipient of the "knuckle", not that I didn't ever deserve it! He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We will always cherish the wooden turntable he made for our family.

Cecil and family,

I recall many fond memories with Don. Early morning breakfast after holiday parties- some pool games-his expertise at carpentry and all the evenings he put up with our crazy mint makings for different celebrations at your house. We always had a BLAST at our UIHC Xamas parties at the Highlander! You and your children have alot to be proud of and good memories of Don

John, I was only able to work with your Dad a short time in his wood shop, but enjoyed learning his own way of doing projects and his expertise. I sure wish I could've spent more time with him! Our prayers are with you and your family.
