Linda and Connie
Sending deepest sympathy to Linda and family. We have many fond memories of my late husband Jim and Ray working at the bus barn and driving school bus. Ray certainly was a man who would help in at the drop of a hat. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Darlene
Linda - so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending thoughts and prayers your way - love, Karen Parrott & family
Connie and Terri, I am sorry to hear about your dad. Losing a parent is so tough. The Williams family is at the core of a group of long-time successful and community-minded west Iowa City farmers. Connie and I went to school at Henry Sabin. I spent a lot of time at the Williams house. Slumber parties with Cathie Stutsman. Dancing to "Monster Mash" in the farmhouse basement. Stuffing ourselves on your Mom's brownies. Your dad once had an ornery bull that he shut in the barn to prevent injury to humans and cows. Ray told us to "stay away from that bull." Connie and I ignored that advice. We went to the exterior side wall of the barn and pounded on the wall until the bull kicked back. That bull was mad! Connie and I giggled our heads off.
We were so sorry to hear about your loss of your beloved Father & friend to all, Raymond. Hopefully you will treasure all your wonderful memories forever more. Raymond shall be missed by all. Peace be with you, Mary
I remember Ray from all those football and wrestling Saturdays when Connie and I would travel to Iowa City and go to the events (sometimes with Ray) and he and Linda would let me become part of the family for the day and treat me to a meal. I especially remember the "Chat & Chew" on one occasion and what fun we had reminiscing. Ray will be fondly missed. Sincerely, Mary Lou Baumgartner
My heart and prayers go out to the family. I will always remember the good times we had over Memorial weekend volunteering for special olympics. Ray had a way of making the athlete's feel very special and encouraged them to do there best.
