My apologies for the belatedness of this posting. I just spotted Ron's obituary while searching for another. Having grown up in Lone Tree I knew Ron and his family on various fronts. You have all have my deepest condolences for you loss. Ron always seemed to have a smile and a kind word for whoever he met. His presence at Kent & Kurt's activities was always noted. Barb I offer my sympathy to you and your family in your loss. Your time together was to short, but I'm sure Ron and you both had many special and memorable times together.

I also offer my sympathy to Ron's family. I will always remember the good times we had together when I hauled in my grain to the Lone Tree Elevator. I'll never forget the day the belt broke on the big elevator leg motor. Ron went up that ladder to the top like a squirrel up a tree. I could have never made that climb. When things would quit working he seemed to know the magic that it took to make it work again. Harvest season was never quite the same after he retired from the elevator. Take care.
