Condolences
I worked with Tom when I started in the Physical Plant electric shop in 1967 as a student helper and then later as a technician in the Energy Conservation Group. I found Tom to be a very generous man, always willing to share his knowledge and lend you his support whenever asked. I owe him a debt of gratitude.
I am sorry for your loss.
Tom was a very compassionate person. Every time I took care of him he was in great spirits and very nice. he will be greatly missed.
Tom was always a good listener, he was a great person to know. It was great to work with him at the University.
Dear Joan, Mike and Maria,

Dear Joan, Mike and Maria,
I am sorry to here about the lost of Tom, but I know that he is better off and not in pain.It was a long 2 years for all of you. Joan I know it was taking a alot out of you.
Tom and Bob were best friends from the third grade in West Branch. He along with his wife Joan stood up with us when we married. We have great memories and campfire stories about Tom. We will not forget him. We know he is at peace. His passing has left a void in our lives. Our thoughts go out to Joan, Mike and Maria. Tom, we will miss you. Bob and Pat Kohlscheen
I worked with Tom at the University. I was always impressed with his knoledge of how things were in the past. Many times I depended on Tom's knowledge to help figure out why something wasn't working. Most of the time he could recall what had caused the situation to turn out like it had. He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help. My thoughts go out to his family
Tom was a great guy. He made me feel so welcome when he hired me back in 1988. Donating his body to the Ubiversity shows how unselfish he was. I know he will begreatly missed by many friends and family. My sympathy goes out to Joan and all of his family.
