William Daniel "Bill" Bartlett
1980 - 2012
Condolences
Diana, you don't know me but I was in attendance at the Christ Our Life conference in Des Moines when you were called out. I immediately prayed, knowing it had to be serious. They announced later that your son had died and Diana, 5000 people prayed for his soul. It was one of the most meaningful moments of the conference for me. 5000 people praying for someone they didn't know, but you were one of us for that weekend and we all felt connected. My deepest sympathies and continued prayers for you and your family.
Eternal rest grant on to him oh Lord.
Bartlett Family,
We cannot imagine the pain you're going through with Bill's loss and are so very sorry. Please know that many are sending prayers of healing and love your way. God bless you.
I have such fond memories of Bill as a child. I can't recall a time when he wasn't smiling. I can remember him showing us cousins all around the farm, excited about everything--the hogs, the land, the barn, the duck blind. It is amazing that he seemed to know who he was and what was really important at a very young age and that he was able to be true to that even as an adult. I was proud to tell people that I had a cousin who lived the way he did.
Danny and Family;
I was so sorry to read about your family tragedy in the Solon Economist. I remember the day I visited my uncle Bill Kessler in the Solon Care Center. He was so happy that you had a new baby boy named Bill like him.
I will be praying for your family over the coming months. We are so lucky to have our faith in God during these rough times. Thanks to your dad for teaching High School CCD over the many years.
John Kessler
My prayers are with your family. It may have been many years since I last saw Bill but the memories of catching bull heads and frogs with Bill and eatting camp fire fried dough in the morning at the Bartlett Campouts are still some of my favorite memories from growing up.
Bless you Bill, you are missed.
-Erik Johnson

Dan, Diana, Jessica, and Rebecca and Families,
The Bartlett Family~
My thoughts and prayers are with you all now, more than ever. I hope you find peace and comfort in the fondest memories of your loved one. Bill's kindness was always contagious and I'm sure it will live on through his children.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bartlett family. My fondest memories are of the "remodel" efforts made to the farm house Bill, Keith and Nathan took over for a while. Things got especially interesting when winter came around and there was no real heat in the house. Thanks for the memories Bill, you will be missed.
To the family:
We are so saddened by your loss. "To every thing there is a reason" Ours is not always to know why. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time.
Thinking of the entire family and sending prayers for strength. Continue to live your faith and cherish the memories as you celebrate Bill's life. I have fond childhood memories of Bill, playing youth soccer, church and high school events. My favorite memory was from our senior year on the golf team. Unfortunately for Bill he was paired with me at the coed meet. His smile and wit got us through the round! His memory will live on. Blessings to you all.
Sorry to hear of you lose and at such a young age. RIP
Bill was a great friend and a great person. I can't count the number of times he help fix our car or help me out with my Jeep. The only problem was I couldn't get him to take money as a payment. I will miss him.
I don't know why some people live and others die. Just that Bill is fine and if we believe, he is content and without pain or discomfort. Its the ones that are left behind who have to bare the burden. Did we say the right thing, did we do the right things. Do we have sorrow in our hearts that maybe we could have done things different. Bill will live on in his children and his legacy will not die. He will live in our memories and in our hearts. Di always said he never went around the puddles just plowed through them. With each step splashing as big a splash as he could. I like to think of him as that little boy. The one who only wanted to be a farmer. How Mike adored him following him everywhere he could. He was his hero. As time goes by the empty feeling that we will feel inside and that awful pressure will pass. Sometimes it will come when we least expect it and as it does, smile to know a good man had crossed our path. Say hello to grandpa for us
Bill . We love you . Rest in Peace

Dan, Diana And Bartlett Family,
This was such terrible news. I cherish the memories of coaching Bill in youth soccer for several years. He was an easy young player to coach. And, I enjoyed watching him play. I still have several videos and photos of him on the soccer field that will keep those memories alive. Thanks for sharing him with us.
My sympathy goes out to all of you.
Dennis
Diana & Dan
We offer our deepest sympathies to you and your entire family along with the friends who knew and loved Bill. Whenever this kind of tragedy occurs, we always hear and think 'Why'? But we come to learn this is an unanswerable question. It is a powerful reminder of how fleeting and temporary our time is on earth. I only hope we can honor him by emulating the qualities Bill brought with him every day. He was a reflection of his family and all the strengths they provided.
We will always remember the visits to the farm and the Christmas holidays when the kids were young. We still talk about the trip to Dakota & Wyoming and how that became a way for cousins to share a memorable experience.
Our only regret is that we didn't live closer.
Donna & Gary
Thinking of you all in this difficult time. I will always remember the priceless memories we shared frowning up with our families as well as sharing our many birthdays together. He will be missed, but will live on in our memories & hearts forever.
Leave a condolence or a memory.
Dan-Diana-Jessica & Rebecca.

I hear Bartlett from Solon and I just bet it was your son.
Coming so soon after my husbands death I can personally feel what you are going thru except we had time to prepare. It sounds like you raised him well. A very talented young man to be able to help others and not do it for monetary award. I will say a rosary just for him and your family. So very sorry

I was shocked and saddened to read of Bill's tragic accident. The death of a child can never be comprehended by those who have not lost a child. Remember to look up at the stars at night and think about those you have loved. In Christian love and friendship, susan brosh
