Mrs Walters was my teacher at Helen Lemme Elementary school. I remember some of the kids were afraid of her, I think it was because she did not suffer fools or maybe she did. But she led the class, and she taught and we learned, I learned. I have no idea how many lives she touched - as a teacher, friend, mother-back then I think we all thought teachers lived somehow at the school and somehow appeared at school each day.
