My father, John Frajman, was a very good friend and co-worker with "Chevalier Allen" at the VA Hospital in Iowa City. They were both in the Naval Reserve together for several years. I too served with Chief Monsanto in the Navy. My father and "Chevalier Allen" (as my father always referred to Chief Monsanto), also worked on small engine repairs whenever they got together at the house. They both were WW II-Korea era sailors and always held each other in high esteem. I know my father always considered Chief Monsanto one of his very best friends. May they both rest in peace.
