I was sorry to learn of Doris' death. She was one of those truly gracious individuals who make life so much more pleasant for everyone around her. I know she had so many friends and deserved every one of them. I know you will miss her greatly.

Mary and I would like to express out condolences on the loss of your mother. I always felt welcome in her household and appreciated the excellent meals she cooked for us.

Betty and Julie and extended family, our heartfelt sorrow knowing you have loved well and will miss your mother and grandmother deeply, yet be remembering her in the moments as you continue to teach Emma and Doris' many more enduring generations who she was and how she lived her life meaningfully!

Doris was a wonderful neighbor and friend here at Quail Creek in North Liberty. She was the sweetest lady, who could cook up a storm. She had some

secret recipes which she shared with us. Doris touched your heart with her

beautiful blue eyes, her easy laugh and kind ways. At 95 she was still a beautiful woman both inside and out. We miss her. Our sincere sympathy to you and your family, Betty.

I knew Doris thru the Madison Penn Township Rural Women with Johnson Co. I guested at her condo. She always entertained our group for the Valentines Party when we played cards and had a potluck. Ellen would join us. May her soul and all the rest of the faithfully departed rest in peace..
