Condolences
To Eric's Family and Friends-
My condolences on Eric's passing. I knew Eric from our high school years at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. There I learned a lot from Eric: enthusiasm, humor, perseverence. His passion for writing and literature still inspires me. In recent years Eric and I re-connected, and I visited him twice in Chicago before he became ill. We corresponded often by email, talking about visiting Exeter again together, sharing recollections of our teenage years far from our homes. Unfortunately that return never happened, but he remains in my memories. I feel very fortunate to have known Eric; he helped make me a better person. I miss him and the conversations we would have had.
To Eric's Family and Friends-
Our deepest condolences to you on the loss of Eric. I, too, have many good memories of him, both personally and professionally. We shared many laughs and many baseball games. Those Thanksgiving dinners were always fun. Eric would bring his own knives to carve the turkey (ours weren't good enough), wrapped in a dish towel. Today I have better knives, and I, too, keep them wrapped in a dish towel. Eric visited me and my husband soon after we'd moved to Maryland, and we thought we'd cook some "local" food-live crabs. Hilarity ensued. On a professional basis, Eric was one of the smartest people I know, and was always willing to share his knowledge and give great advice when I was faced with a sticky situation. We were very fortunate to know him, and he will be missed.

Dear Vilda, Martha, Todd & family,
Sending you my deepest sympathies and prayers. Eric was an old friend and co-worker back in the days of Rodman & Renshaw. I will miss shared baseball games, his lasagna dinner parties, more than a few libations and his wit. May his memory be eternal.
I knew Eric for many years through mutual friends. He came to Thanksgiving dinner for many years when he couldn't get home. I will miss him terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Dear Aunt Vilda, Martha and Family,
Vilda, Martha and Family,
Our deepest sympathies to all of you on the loss of Eric. Although, we have not had much contact thru the years, I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. It has been a difficult month with the passing of my mom but I am sure she welcomed Eric with open arms at the Gates of Heaven. Be at peace knowing that his pain is now gone and he can finally rest easy in the arms of God. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and hopefully provide you with the strength you need as you grieve.
Love,
Doug & Jennifer White.
I was so sorry to read of the passing of your son. I know he had been sick and that you had spent a lot of time with him. I remember mom talking about what a bright boy he was and how he attended Exeter Academy. I am very sorry for your loss. The family pictures were nice.
Dear Vilda and Family, Words are hard to find at this difficult time but I hope that knowing you are all in our thoughts and prayers will bring some comfort to you. Although I didn't have the pleasure of being around Eric in later years, I will always fondly remember him as a bright little boy who who was obviously going to be very successful in life.
Love and deepest sympathy to all of you, Harl and Saraellen
