My mother, Remona Roth, who just passed away in October at the age of 96, was a p kart of the Windham Community Church for many years. She knew your mother, and when the Windham League met each year, would speak very kindly of her, as a very kind and loving person. As with my mother, it is a tremendous blessing to have her for so many years. Yet those many years of blessing make the parting very difficult. Remember the good times, and cherish the memories; they are yours to keep as long as you live on this earth. May the Lord embrace you with the arms of Eternal Love, and help you to feel His Loving Presence during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear about Dorothy, its been many years since I had seen her.

My memory of your mom was when I spend the night during the winter and the next morning we would slide down the sidewalk to get into the car and race down the lane to the bus with your mom looking out of hole on the windshield about the size of a 50 cent piece !! None of us said a word !!!

Oh my goodness...so many memories rush through my mind of our neighborhood when growing up, Willow Grove #2 country school, Dorothy beginning the "hot lunch program" going at Willow Grove, her smile and always being there. Dorothy and Clifford were very much a stable part of our community..always there for all of us. My siblings and I grew up with Bill, Terry, Nancy, Wendy, Jo Ellen and Jon ( who was our ring bearer in our wedding). I so much remember when Sandy passed away....how Dorothy dealt with that...in my eyes, so strong.

Memories of Dorothy, Clifford and her family give me a warm fuzzy feeling of my growing up years.

Thoughts and prayers to your family. I grew up out by East Pittsburg. I remember loving to go visit Dorthy and Clifford on Halloween. They were always so pleasant to visit with. I also was able to visit Dorthy when she moved into Iowa City years ago. She was a neat lady. She will be missed tremendously but will join Clifford again at the gates of heaven.
