Condolences
I have been blessed to know Misti for a lot of years she was and is a great person love and miss her i am glad she got to see William when he was born
I had the privilege of being SC Class of '87 with Misti. We called her "Doc." I didn't know her well but she always seemed like a sweet gal. Often had that familiar smile on her face. Rest in Peace Doc, your battle is over.
Janis and Family.
I was very saddened by the word of Misti's passing. I will always remember her ability to help her softball teams. She will be missed
To Janis and Misty'
s family,
Our deepest sympathy in your loss. Your precious memories are now treasures for a life time.
Enjoyed working with her for 8 plis years.
I knew Misti when we were kids. I have fond memories of her from school and 4-H. So sorry to hear of her passing.
Misti will never be forgotten by anyone who ever met her. She was one of the hardest working, toughest women I know and I never saw her in a bad mood. The was selfless and giving. She once brought me two giant salmon fillets from her fishing trip in Alaska because I'd just mentioned I liked salmon. :) My heart goes out to Bruce and Dallas, who she spoke of every day. I send my love and prayers to you two and everyone else deeply effected by her loss. I will miss you dearly, Misti and will never forget you.
I haven't known Misti for a long time but for the time I did, she will leave a lasting impression with me. She was so kind & knowledgable. She would take you under her wing & teach what you wanted to know. She is one of a kind & I will miss her. Sorry for your loss.
Misti was the strongest woman I knew. No matter how she felt she would be the first to give a person encouragement. I'm so glad that she was in my life I will miss her dearly.
Janis, Travis, Justin and Julie deepest condolences to you all for your loss. May God be with you all and help you through your loss.
Dean and I were so sorry to hear about Misti's passing. We had the honor of going on several BB gun trips with the wonderful people from Pierre and Ft. Pierre. Misti was such an energetic and friendly girl and we always enjoyed her personality. Our thoughts and sympathies are with her family and friends. I am sure she is greatly missed.
Misti--No more pain or suffering--you are now at peace. I happened upon this sad announcement as I was trying to look Misti up to possibly find pictures of us during a shooting competition trip we took together to Camp Perry, OH. What a great trip! I'd love to see photos of us, if any remain. I wish I would have caught up with you sooner. Peace to you and your family--You are in a better place, old friend.
Misti always had a bright shining face and a positive attitude. I worked with her for about 10 years and if she was ever in a bad mood she never showed it.
We will miss you Misti.
My heart goes out to the family. Misti will be missed by many. I always remember her positive attitude she had and her stories of her Alaska trips which I admired. RIP Misti and prayers to your family in these hard times.
My deepest sympathy to all of Misit's family
Misti, my classmate, my friend, you are loved and will be missed! God Bless!
Just wanted to light a purple/gold candle in your memory sweet friend!
I was fortunate to attend SCHS with Misti! When I was a freshman and Misti was a Sophmore we were the only girls that made it to the state track meet that year (1985) She made it in shot/discuss throw and I made it in hurdles. I will never forget that time we spent together during that time! Her and I were (are) grew up being Tom boys and loved rough housing and hanging out like the guys did! We had a blast! She taught me a lot about the throwing world and she always expressed her opinion about running ( she hated it) thought "us" people that ran were crazy!! I totally agree with her now!!! Lol. I've thought about her a lot through the years, and particularly recently when I was telling my 15 year old son about her~ having no idea she had been fighting cancer. She was (is) a great person, down to earth, and had a great witty personality! I will miss her and want the family know that she was inspirational to me and I will dearly miss her! Rest in peace Misti,,,,, until we meet again! Prayers for the family!
God truly gained another angel in heaven . i hope you are at peace and no more suffering. to the family of misty you are all in our prayers. Kevin Kirkpatrick
So sorry for your loss Janis!
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3: 5-6.
I'll always remember Misti as fun loving and athletic.
Misti was an inspiration to us all--a very positive "can do" approach, always approachable, and a genuinely good person. Even in illness, she kept others spirits up without any reference to her own situation. We all need more people like Misti in our lives.
Leave a condolence or a memory.
