Obituary of Dean L. Lane

Dean L. Lane, 82, of Iowa City, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Iowa City. Dean L. Lane was born May 3, 1930, in Albia, Iowa; son of Ben and Edna Lane. Dean taught for over 40 years; 30 of which was at Ottumwa Junior High. He also coached, enjoyed reading and was an avid fan of the Hawkeye football. Dean's family includes his wife, Donna, and other extended family. In accordance with Dean's wishes no services will be held.
