Elma and my dad, Bob Zhuffman worked together for years at the VA. He always spoke of her like the glue that held the office together! I know she leaves a loss in the lives of her family members.
Sorry to hear of Elma's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with the two of you. We always enjoyed working with the two of you and hearing about her nieces and nephews. I wish I could be there today but know that you are in all of our thoughts and prayers here.
We knew Elma from the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. We had such great times with her and Gayle.(Usually "house parties".) She was such a happy person and we had many laughs. We will always remember her fondly. Arnold and Mary Lou Zajicek.
My sincere sympathy to Gayle and to Elma's family. I have the fondest memories of Elma from our church affiliation. She was an inspiration to all and I know her faith was unequaled. Our Heavenly Father has welcomed her with open arms and He will enfold all of you in his loving arms to comfort and sustain you. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
