Glenda and Family, it saddens us to hear of Gene's Passing, he was always Very Pleasant and had a Smile for Everyone. We remember well all the Hills Town -n- Country get together's in the "GOOD O'L DAYS".
I also remember my Sister Ferne Craft introducing you and I at the Clinton Street apartments, Many years ago (early 60's) and I have never forgotten you being a Very Sweet and Nice Young Lady..
Rest in Peace Gene, MANY HAPPY TRAILS..
So sorry to hear about Gene - Glenda I don't know if you remember when you did my hair years ago. It has been such a long time since I have seen either of you. I remember him as being super nice, always smiling and willing to help. I am so sorry.
I worked with Gene at Eagles, on North Dodge St., in Iowa City 1961-1963 in the produce department. He was always cheerful and had a smile for all of the customers. Enjoyed working for him.
Gene was happy all the time! Everyone enjoyed his company. I never had the pleasure of fishing with him and his wife, Glenda, but during a visit to John and Kristi's cabin, Gene served up the best breaded fish I've ever had! He and Glenda were an example of a perfect marriage; partners and best friends. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Luv, Kerri
