Roy L. Peterson
1948 - 2013
Condolences
RL and i were teenage friends .. we met each other through my great grandfather Jess Waller who lived in dunlap..the last time i saw him was in 1977 he moved back east and i lost track of him.. i went to the fulgom ranch in 1996 and asked his cousin sharon how to find him but i didnt connect with him.. we hunted deer and quail as kids on his grandpa roys ranch .. he played guitars with me and i rode his 650 bsa motorcycle and had fun in his blue 65 fastback mustang.. this was before he went to viet namn.. im sorry he is gone.... we had alot of fun together as kids i will always remember him
Haven't see RL in years, but have thought of him often and the antics he played when he lived in Michigan with us. Condolences to all the family in Virginia.
Royce and Lori,

Kelly and family,
I would like to thank everyone for all the well wishes. In times like these you really realize who your true friends are. My Dad was a great man and touched many lives. God bless everyone and if it's any relief to anyone he did not suffer at all.

A good man.father, soldier and friend will missed by those whose life he was a part off. Roy was like a father to me but more than that a great tradesman and the last of his kind. Roy took me under his wing and honed my management skills to prepare me for my career. Thank you Roy for all the memories you'll never be forgotten. Brothers in life, Brothers in Christ. May the Lord welcome you with open arms. My condolences to the Peterson Family you are all in my prayers.

You were always there for me and listened whenever I had a problem. I will miss you so much Roy. I love you and you will always be in my heart.
It still doesnt seem real that you're gone and I'm sure it never will but you are in a much better place than any of us here. I love you papa and always will miss you untill we meet again ♥
Royce, ever since the first time I smacked your butt, you have ALWAYS talked about your Dad. He is an angel now; peace be with you and your family.
