Frenise "Rachon" Fulton
2013
Condolences
Dear Mrs. Turner.
My Friend. We had so much fun together in Rosebud and here in Kyle. We are so sorry to see you go. But we needed to see each other before you left. Wasn't meant to be I guess. Keep happy, see you later. Deena and Manuel
I met Ray a few years ago and would see him in the summers when he came to Iowa City for a while. The last time was in spring of 2012 when he came to Iowa City worried about his mother and wondering what he should do. He enjoyed his Iowa City friends and would say over and over how happy he was that he could be gone so long, com back and continue good relationships with those of us in Iowa City. We will miss Ray and his smiling face a wonderful personality. He was not boastful about his work but was very modest about what he did. We would like to know what happened and wish we could have been with him during his final days to comfort him. I would really like to hear about what happened so maybe we too could find some comfort and closure. I would love to have a funeral informational bulletin about him to keep close and hold near to our hearts. If anyone would like to let us know about Ray, please send us a note to Gail and Steve Kirchner, 2339 Catskill Court, Iowa City, IA 52245. We were unable to attend the services in Iowa City due to schedule conflicts. You have our deepest sympathy and we have been praying for you, his family, at this most difficult time. Ray was a wonderful person and we loved spending time with him and supporting him when he needed it. Blessing to all of you.
RIP, Friend.
Dear Ms. Jean,
Maggie Jean,
I am deeply sorry to hear of the recent passing of "Scrappy'. It has been numerous years since I last saw him, although I knew he was a prominent and successful dentist. I always referred to Scrappy as my play-cousin. as we always believed we were somehow related. My prayers go out to you and the rest of Lewis family.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted..
Regards, Roberta Wright-Toshumba
To Cousin Maggie Jean:
I will never forget my mama (Pam) having my cousin the great dentist Scrappy look at my teeth when I was sitting in O'ma's (Big Sister's) living room in Greensboro and him telling me I had quite an overbite. I was around age 12 or so, and I had no idea what "overbite" meant - but it sounded terrible, and I was terrified that I'd have to get braces for being bucktoothed LOL! Fortunately, I haven't needed braces, so I guess my overbite wasn't that bad after all.
Maggie Jean, our love and prayers are with you for comfort and strength during this time of loss.
Blessings,
Kayren Shoffner Cathcart & family in Charlotte
Dear Mrs. Turner and Family and Ms. Nightpipe,
We were saddened to here of the passing of the friend we knew as Ray. We would mmeet him at Shakespeare's and when he was back in town we had a standing lunch date at the Hilltop. Ray was a fun person to be with and we considered him our adopted son..
Please accept our deepest condolences.

It saddens my heart to hear of the transition of Dr. Fulton. Scrappy and I met when he was positioning himself to go the Navy. We became good friends at NC A&T.He shared his plans to join the navy, to serve his country and pursue his goal of becoming a dentist. He reached his goal of becoming a dentist, and helped many in doing so. God used his soft hands and huge heart to help those in need. Now he is one of our ancestors. Rest in peace my brother. I miss you already.
My sincere condolences to the family of my friend Rachon "Scrappy" Fulton. Scrappy and I became good friends while attending Grimsley High School, and I will always remember our post-senior year trip to Myrtle Beach with the late Gregory "Butterball" Baldwin (so many laughs on that trip). We both enrolled as freshmen at NC Central University in 1973 and even spent time as roommates in the famous Chidley Hall at NCCU. We spent many hours talking about where life would take us, and I was so pleased that Scrappy was able to live his dream of becoming a dentist and devoting his life to helping others. So many lives were enriched by knowing him. I was fortunate to be among his many friends.
my condolences to Mrs. Turner, Scrappy was my dear friend from dental school, i'll never forget our great relationship, we went thru hills and valleys together. My love always Shepherd
My prayer are with you Maggie Jean may God comfort you in this sad time. The Lewis and Oldham Family
Very sad to hear about the loss of "Scrappy" Fulton. My condolences to his entire family. At such a young age...we never know when we will be called home. We were Greensboro school and neighborhood homeboys. He will be missed.
My cousin Scrappy will certainly be missed. Although I hadn't seen him in years he was always thought of when his mom would visit home! I pray for the strenght of his mom and God will continue to be by her side each and every day!
RIP cuz...I love you 2 life.....
Scrappy was my cousin but he was like a brother to me. We attended Grimsley High School. We rode to school several times during our high school years. He will surely be missed. Mag you have my deepest sympathy.
My most heartfelt and sincere condolences to "Scrappy's" family. I knew that he was in SD, and that he had been there for quite some time, but did not know exactly where. I have and will continue to miss my friend.
I've been a close friend of Scrappy's for several years and consider myself very lucky to have known him. He always lit up a room with his infectious personality and he made friends very quickly with anyone he met in his travels. Me and my family will miss him in our lives and offer Maggie Jean and the rest of his family our deepest condolence.
My deepest regards and sympathy to the family of Rachon Fulton. Scrappy and I go back to our freshman year in college where life was to be defined. We had some good times and were forever friends. God bless his family and friends in these regretable times.
My heart goes out to the family. Dr. Fulton was a childhood friend of mine. I have fond and vivid memories of us playing as children & partying as teenagers in Greensboro, NC. There are many here that are stunned and saddened by the news of his passing. "Scrappy" will always have place in my heart.
I am so sorry to hear this news, and can not image this happening. You were love and will be missed. I was just telling someone about you yesterday and how you use to get put out for house for celebrating the COWBOYS in a REDSKIN home. God Bless you and welcome you into his arms. Mag you are in my prayers. Hope to see you soon. God Bless You and keep you. Love you..Denise and Leslie
