Dan and family - sending our sympathy on the loss of your Dad. . . .
wishing you a holiday of remembrance and peace.
Dan....I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. You have my condolences and my prayers for you and your whole family. Eileen (Stahmer) and Jim Meyers
Here is a poem (not sure who wrote it) that I love and thought you might also:
John and family, Our deepest sympathy to the Gorsh family on your loss. Hold all the special memories you have in your heart to help you through this difficult time. God bless you all. Tom and Laurie Kriz
Dear John, Cindy and Dan - Gary and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I remember attending the same church as your dad when I was a kid. How he loved to sing! But we won't talk about how long ago that was! Our thoughts are with you and the rest of your family. Becci and Gary Potter.
I was fortunnate to have met Art a few times through his daughter Cindy. He was a very special man and you could tell this just by everything he was invovled in and through the many stories Cindy has shared over the years. He is now in heaven and watching over all. May God bless you all, my sincere sympathy.
Sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathies.
Our hearts go out to all family and friends who have known and have celebrated life with such a terrific and inspiring person. Art was as good as they came, and family always came first. A role model for all
We have many fond memories of Art and the love he had for family and friends. No one was a stranger to him.
We recall him mowing in his bib overalls.
No matter the task he dove in whole heartedly to get the job done right.
He instilled great values to his family and all loved ones.
Art will live on in the hearts of many and be watching over us all.
Take Care, Mike and Cathy
I had to share one other special photo with Uncle Art...when he shared his stories about milking cows, Tim and I had to wear our cow shirts when we visited in August. During our visit, Art proceeded to share his cow stool that he made.
Aunt Mary, I am so happy that you and Uncle Art shared many wonderful years together. Every time I saw you together I could see the love you shared and that you being together was meant to be. I really enjoyed coming to your home and having Uncle Art sing and share stories. I will have these memories forever and am so grateful.

Mary we are so sorry to hear of Arts passing our sympathy to you and your family.
Though I didn't know Art well, I do know he brought much happiness to my Aunt Mary's life. She was always a special lady to me and it filled my heart with joy when she married Art. I'm glad they had 30 wonderful years to spend together. He was a wonderful man to bring so much love and laughter into other people's life.
I knew Art when we worked together at Leo's Superior 400 and later Leo's Gulf station in Coralville in the early '70's. He and I worked the late shift there and closed up for Leo on many occasions. He was sure a go getter! Always had 3 or 4 irons in the fire.
It was always a pleasure to work with Art, because he always had a great big smile for you and was always in a good mood. He always had a funny story to tell, and those cold winter nights went by faster when he was on the job. After all these years I still remember the good times working with him and my wife and I were saddened to hear of his passing. I am a better person for having known Art.
So sorry Sandy to hear of your Dad's passing. I don't see the Gorsh name unless I think of you. Prayers to you and all your family.
