Condolences
It is exactly one month today since Bill passed away. We miss him so much. Yet all of your kindness, kind words and wonderful memories of him have helped with our grief. Thank you.
Jan. 4th was his birthday and we celebrated it with his favorite dinner--fried chicken and gravy, fried potatoes, and of course, double chocolate cake.e
Thank you to all of the friends and family who were able to attend our dad's service, those who have visited here and left notes as well as those who have written cards to tell us how they remember him. It means so much that you have taken the time to share your stories and help us remember stories we had forgotten. He loved life and people and would be pleased to know the impact he made.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you for being a part of my dad's life. He enjoyed people and the energy they brought to him. We will miss him greatly but know he is still with us in our hearts and thoughts.
Thank you all for your kindness and support.
Ann Terry

Many thanks too all of you for taking time to share your thoughts and attend the funeral. With the busy holiday schedules we are very appreciative to all of you. May the holidays bring you peace and joy and many wonderful memories with your family and friends.

Our heart felt sympathy to Judy and family. Bill was such a good person. We have such fond memories-especially of softball days. Many thanks, Bill for all that you did for others during your life. Rest in peace. Sincerely, the Terry A. Smothers family.
Our prayers and heart felt love go out to Bill's family. You have lost a truly great man, but his love and devotion, and all that he taught will live on through each of you.
Dear Becky and family,
Sending you our love and condolences. Reading about your father's life was inspiring and made my heart smile. He and your Mom raised three amazing daughters. I'm so grateful for that. :) He is leaving a beautiful legacy through his family, his church, his community work and the many people whom his life touched. I wish we could be there in person to give you a hug and celebrate your father's life with you. We love you very much,
Bill and Judy provided me with my second home. The whole family embraced me in my deepest time of need. I never forget Bill pulling us on the rope swing, shooting baskets in the driveway, and teaching us how to throw a softball. My thoughts are with you all, Judy, Ann, Sara and " Pandy"
Judy,
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We always enjoyed visiting with Bill and you at Master Gardener events.

The Special District Board Directors (SDA) and the Staff send condolences and sympathy to the Terry family. Those who know and respect Ann Terry know that her father's love and devotion to his family has resulted in his legacy through Ann and her family and we share the loss of a kind and generous man who left the world a better place by virtue of his life.
Bill was a person to be remembered. I knew him briefly as a customer back in the 60's but I have never forgotten his kindness and generosity in sharing his expertise and equipment for my amateur wall-papering I have to know I wasn't the only one - that's just the way he was. My thoughts go out to his family - I met his wife one time, I remember, at an open house.
Bill (Mr. Terry to us) was a patient and kind softball coach. Tough on us when needed, but always friendly and approachable. My sister & I played on Bill's team for quite a few years. I remember practices in the field across from the Terry's and how much fun we all had. Thank you Mr. Terry, you were an excellent coach and man! To the family, please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Keep the faith.
Judy my heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you and your family. For as long as I've known you I never realized Bill who was ahead of me at City High was your husband nor that Steve Vitosh who was a friend of my son's was your son in law.
I've traveled this journey you are now on and now no words will ease your pain but know that you are in the thoughts and hearts of so many. I'm hear if you need some one to listen or to talk.

Our sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Bill Terry. I first met Bill during our meetings for the City High Alumni Association....and then again worked with him in the scale house at the Fair Grounds during cattle weigh ins and chatting with Bill throughout the week of the 4-H fair. He will be missed.

I never met Bill Terry, but from his daughter, and reading of his life, what a full, honorable and remarkable life he lived, and what a light to the world around him. Best wishes to all of his beloved family.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Bill was always so kind.
Judy and family, I'm sorry for your loss. Bill was always so positive, bright and easy to speak with. He was one the people that made a wonderful impression on me as we were looking for a new church home several years ago. I won't forget him! I apologize that I'm unable to attend the services, but know that you all will be in my prayers. Dan

Rest in peace my sweet Uncle. We had the chance to spend a lot of time together while my mother (his sister) was living with me. He made regular visits out to my home to see her.
Prayers with Judy and the family during this difficult time. Bill was a great man who left a great legacy.

We will miss Bill's joyful smile. Bill was a great Father-in-law to my son Steve.
Bill was a great friend and classmate of our Class of ' 57.He was such a "live wire"...he had so much energy. He was such a friend to many and will be sorely missed by myself and the Community. My condolences to Judy and the family.
Our deepest condolences to Bills family.
I have known Bill and Judy for only 10 years or so. Bill was always a delight to visit with. I am truly sorry for this family's loss. You all have my deepest sympathy. Saira, if there is anything I can do for you...please to not hesitate to call.
Hugs, June.
Bill always had a warm heart and a caring soul through out the years that I have know him through my sister in law Saira Vitosh-Steen. He always put others first no matter what the situation. He will be greatly missed.
My father was always one to put family first. He was an "all in" kind of father. He didn't just drop us off at softball practice, he coached us. In junior high I remember feeling so proud as he spoke at a school assembly for the time honored magazine sales he was chaired on behalf of the PTO. Dad never said no to a request to help others. I remember in high school finding out that not all dads did all the laundry which was something I thought was completely normal in all households. He was a strong man physically & spiritually and yet had a soft heart and always a shoulder to lean on and an time to listen.
