Thank you all for your kind words. My Aunt Irma will be greatly missed. A special thank you to the Iowa City Care Center for your great care and kindness.

Irma was our Volunteer of the year in 1999 and no one deserved that honor more. She didn't like the attention but her work was exceptional. She left a big hole that we really haven't filled.

I remember working with Irma when she was a secretary in the College of Business. She worked hard and did her best to learn the new word processing systems that we were introducing in the College.

Irma was my secretary for years in the U. of I. College of Business. I have fond memories of working with her. She was very competent and could do anything with a manuscript that you wanted. Very diligent and meticulus.

I had Irma over to my house quite a few times for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. She was just as quiet there as in the office. She was very appreciative of the invitation.

Irma had been for some years in the Iowa City Care Center. It has been about a year since I visited her there and I was shocked to see her obituary in the paper today. She was one of a kind.

I worked with Irma at the Tippie College of Business. Many times I would see Irma volunteering at the Iowa City Public Library as well. She was very loyal to her work and always kind to the people she worked with. Irma will be missed.

Irma and I would often walk into work and out of work together. We each parked in the same garage and worked in the Pomerantz Center. While she was a woman of few words, I always knew she was an earnest colleague. She intended to do her job and there would not be many trivial notions to distract her from that. My sympathies to her family.

I met Irma at the Tippie College of Business. She was conscientious, diligent, and very loyal to the people she worked with. Her professionalism will be missed.

We will miss her so much. Our thoughts and prayers to the family at this difficult time.

Sorry to hear of Irma's passing. I knew her through the Tippie College of Business where she was always devoted to her work. I also saw her at the Public Library and admired her for volunteering for such a great place. She will be missed.

Irma was a smart, gentle and generous soul who gave so much more than she ever expected to receive. I am grateful that we shared years in Iowa City.
