To Nancy, Stew, Ginger and families: The world certainly seems less lively and interesting now, without Virginia---what a huge amount of energy, passion, and humor packed into that lovely, slight frame ! Nancy & I became best friends in 4th grade and I was treated to the whirlwind that was Ginnie on memorable auto jaunts through South Jersey ("Is this the road that turns left to Pitman?"), intense conversations, hilarious jokes and stories ,and just plain fun. I will remember Ginnie as always a searcher, intent on discovering and opening up the world and its mysteries and sharing it with you. Jim was an early admirer; we treasure our last visits with her in Iowa---especially the first one, when we found ourselves being driven to lunch instead of the other way round ! Our sympathies to you all. Well done, Virginia. We will miss you.
