Our condolences to Oney and the rest of Betty's family. I worked with Betty in the UIHC Department of Urology for twenty years from the mid 1970's until her retirement. She was a lovely person to work with - kind and considerate to everyone. I have always appreciated the help she gave to me as a new employee in 1974.

I am sorry about the loss of your sister and aunt. She was such a wonderful addition to Greenwood/Briarwood. I remember bringing my dog Dixie with me to work at night, even though Betty was really a cat person, she would allow Dixie to jump up on her bed to visit with her and give her treats. I was glad she could enjoy an animal because one of the reasons she came here was the cats. Another memory was when she went to Walmart on a shopping trip purchasing tylenol pm. She would take it, I think more then she should of, it worked really well on Betty because some of the time she would fall asleep in the middle of a conversation in the middle of the day. Boy were we worried about her til we found the medication. She will be missed. Yahtzee!!!

Dear Oney, Mike & family of Betty,

I would like to extend my sympathy on the passing of your dear, sweet Betty. She always had a smile and a calm acceptance of life. Please know I'm thinking of you.
