I am very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Jim had always done work for me in the past and was a down right nice person to deal with and talk to. He was always busy when I would stop by but he always found the time to talk and share a story or two. I really enjoyed his company and the talks. He will certainly be missed. My deepest condolences to the family. Wishing you peace, strength and comfort during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. What an artist at his trade and a wonderful man. Always busy but had time to talk cars, and share how to perform some work on my own call. Rest In Peace Jim.
Diana, Deb, and Jeff - I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was always a very friendly man and one you will miss deeply. May your memories keep you strong. You are in my heart and prayers during this time as I know your pain due to my recent loss as well.
Jeff, Debbie & Diane,
I'm very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Jim was truly a one of a kind. I'll never forget the trips around the midwest with Jim & Jeff, making barn finds, pulling cars out of farmers fields, with the James Gang on the 8 track. He was always smiling, he never seemed too busy to answer car questions from kids like me... & I learned a lot just bumming around the family garage for hours. Jim is certainly missed! I wish your family well.
I was very sorry to learn of Jim's death when I read about it in the paper this morning. I had the good fortune to spend some time with Jim at the shop when he worked on several auto projects for me. The last car of mine which received his skilled touch was a 1938 Ford street rod. The soft gray interior which he installed demonstrated his supreme artistic talent and the "magic" that he had in his hands. Jim was extremely fair-minded. His honesty and integrity knew no bounds. Beyond all this was a genuinely decent and caring human being.
My sympathy to all the family members.

This one really hurts ... we were friends for 50 years. He taught me a lot about hotrods, customs and show cars ... but mostly about life. How to be a good person -- never have a negative attitude -- endure for a good outcome -- always do quality work and treat everyone fairly. I never, ever, heard anything negative from Jim, or about Jim.
We're so glad we have one of his interiors in our 1932 Ford Coupe ... still in good shape after 45 years! Janice and I always think of Jim and the good times we had with him whenever we drive it. Our prayers and thought are with you all. God Speed, Jim - we'll catch up later.

Thank you Jim, for all you did to keep our trade of auto upholstery valued and respected. You were one of the masters. Although we never worked together, I learned a lot from my visits to your shop and all the stories you shared. I wish you peace and happiness wherever you may be. -- Jim Nishida-Adams / Adams Upholstery
Diana: I am so sorry you lost your father. I hope the good memories of him comfort you in the days ahead. Mary
Dear Debbie, Diana and Jeff;
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was such a great guy and neat dad. I remember the tall trophies he won and the amazing cars he designed especially the one with the flashing colors lights in the back and the loud stereo speakers! Perfect for the 1960's and 70's.
I hope all the wonderful memories will give you comfort in the days to come.
Donna
