So sorry to hear about Deb's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Lindsay and Andriy,
We love you guys and are so sorry for your loss. We grieve along side you as you mourn the passing of someone so dearly loved and appreciated in your family. God's grace is sufficient because His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Cor.12:9). Your smiles and Christ like attitudes are always so encouraging to us as friends and I know they will continue to encourage family and friends you meet and greet through this process. We are praying with you, crying with you and just sitting silent with you...we love you guys!
"'O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?' The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." -1 Cor. 15:55-57

To Ken and the entire family,
My deepest sympathies to everyone there. I'm at a loss of words as to what to say. Julie told me of Debbie's passing and...it's difficult ya know. I will always remember her as my really cool cousin and a pretty one at that too. She was always smiling and seemed so happy when I saw her at family reunions and such. That's how I want to always remember Debbie.
I have some really awesome older cousins in my life and I thank God that each one of them have had a positive imprint on my life. Thank You God for my adopted Schmidt family!! Such a loving and caring family!
Rest in peace Deb. You are much loved!!
With Deepest Sympathy...JEFF and Sandra Leinen

Ken thank you for the honor of allowing the Bird House to help your family. You were such a loving husband and caregiver to your sweet wife. I know I only was with your wife a short time but I will forever remember her lovely smile, your high school sweetheart as you told me and the love that your family has for each other. Keeping you and your family in my prayers. Deb's legacy continues to live on in your family and others that she cared for.
Sincerely,
Halie the Hospice Caregiver at the Bird House that welcomed you and Deb upon your arrival.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family through this difficult time.
Know that your faith will be the foundation to lean on.
Sorry I was not able to attend the visitation.
Blessings,
Kevin

To Lindsay:
Very saddened to learn of your mother's passing. I lost my mother in 2003 at age 83. She had always been the "rock" of our family and much of the credit for how my life has turned out can be credited to her influence. From the glimpses I have seen of your mother, I am guessing it is the same for you.
I am so grateful for the privilege to know you, Andryi and your family. I am praying I will be able to join you in Ukraine again to spread the message of Christ's love in your "adopted" country. May that same love comfort and sustain you and your family during this time of loss.
With sympathy,

Ken and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I did not know Deb but sometimes it helps ease the pain when
People from the past acknowledge your great loss. Be sure that your Dad and Mom welcomed her home. God bless you
And the family.
Dear Ken,
It was with true sadness that I read of Deb's passing. My heart goes out to you and your entire family, because, having known you both, it was clear that she was an incredible spirit in your family circle. Always a smile, always a conversation, always something going on in your lives - just always fun to meet her in the hallway. The earth is poorer for her loss. I wish, after your grief, you will enjoy your wonderful memories for a lifetime.
Thinking of you.

Words cannot be said as to how sad I am for you and your family Ken. To say that Deb was one of a kind is such an understatement.
I have too many memories to even start with, so I will just say, rest in peace sweet friend. You fought the good fight, now you can rest in the arms of Jesus.. You have left a unique fingerprint on my heart that no one else will ever come close to repeating. I love you!!!
