Dear John and Family, I am sorry for your loss. Janie was an important presence at the Crisis Center when I served there in the 1990's. She brought joy with her to share with one and all. Peace to you as you begin to cope with her absence.
I'm so sorry of your families loss. John I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts at this time of need take care Bret
Janie was a special lady. I got to know her when I worked at the Crisis Center and she was a volunteer. She had a great attitude and helped others selflessly, despite her own challenges. Hold onto the memories and may they give strength to her family and friends.
I consider Janie as one of my oldest and dearest friends. we met through A pen pal magazine in the early eighties. knowing Janie as I do, she probably still owns that magazine. miles never seem to bring distance between us as we chatted through snail mail and then later with new technology we began to send almost daily emails to each other. I always knew when I was getting a letter or card from her as there would be so many stickers and cute artwork on her envelopes. We both love thrift shopping and would share our Great bargains with each other. when my husband and I visited her and John in Iowa she would take us on all day thrift shopping excursions. we would have a blast. I've never met or known anyone quite like her and of course I will never forget her. I can still hear her voice in my head. she would want everyone to come to Jesus so that they can see her again in heaven I know I will see her again one day and we will talk about old times and have a few laughs together.
Sending Love to you who have lost a dear Christain Lady.. She loved people but most of all she Loved her Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.. Remembering the times I was able to visit with her at various Pen Pals United Conventions and those that come to mind are Rockford, Illinois, Burlington, Vermont, Wilkes Barre, PA, Grand Rapids, Mi.. She will be missed.. Loved her penpals and friends.. May the Lord Bless you and Keep you in His Care for now and always..
Sorry for your loss she was a very special lady..
I have known Janie for a long time through her service to the Crisis Center. She was such a dedicated volunteer with a passion for helping others. She will be missed!
