Denise L. Morton

Condolences
Denise's impact on the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra was immeasurable. Her musicianship, leadership and dedication were stalwart elements within the Orchestra. We send our deepest sympathy to her entire family from her SEISO family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Denise by playing in the Southeast Iowa Symphony with her! She was an beautiful person and a wonderful musician. She always had a smile on her face and she played oboe so beautifully! She will really be missed in the symphony - I am so glad she was a part of our lives! She made us better!
I had the most wonderful opportunity to know this very musically talented lady and one of the most committed family moms. That time was during the Bicentennial Mini Theatre. She played that piano with the most energetic enthusiasm I have ever witnessed. She inspired and taught the children and myself the importance of having and learning the art of music. My heart is heavy for the Morton family, but I know there is an angel in heaven playing the piano and (Oboe) and children dancing and singing. Love to all
So sorry,Ron and family. May God comfort you in this time of loss.Prayers
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Know now she is at peace. Bless all of you.
Just as in the picture above, Denise's life shone like the sun. She was such a kind and loving person, and will be deeply missed. Our hearts go out to you, her family. We hold you in love and in our prayers.
