Obituary of Brenda L. Houser

Brenda Lee (Hawkins) Houser passed away peacefully at her home on November 20th. Brenda was born and raised in Johnson county, Iowa on October 16, 1963, the daughter of Roy and Nancy Hawkins. The youngest of three girls Brenda was the wild one. Never the one to back down from a challenge Brenda lived life knowing that when she left this world she would look back and say “That was one hell of a ride.” Her daughter Crystal was the light of her life. They were like two peas in a pod. Being together again heaven just got a little more fun. Brenda and Rick were married in their back yard in front of family and friends. In true Brenda style she was barefoot. She loved Rick he was her knight in a shining base ball cap. Brenda loved fiercely. She made sure if you came to her home you left with a full plate and a full heart. She is survived by her Husband Rick Houser. Her Sister’s Lisa (Russ) Hogan, and Teresa (Harlan) Sharf. Her adoptive mom Sharron Hart and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 6 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service.
