Condolences
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear wife and mother. You are all in our prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear about Sue's passing. I worked at UNI more than 15 years ago in the Admissions Office and had the pleasure of meeting Katie when she was a high school student pursuing dual enrollment. I will never forget Sue giving me a call to thank me for enrolling Katie in some UNI courses. She was a friendly person with such a caring personality. I recall Katie didn't fall far from the tree.
I didn't know Sue or Katie well but was so surprised and saddened to see this news. Please know I will be thinking of your family during this difficult time, and I'll keep you all in my prayers. You have my deepest sympathy.
My deepest sympathy to Phil and the family. Sue was such a light and joy to work with. She is missed!
Liz and Katie-- I was so sad to read that your mom had passed away. I know how hard she battled the cancer. The last time I saw her she was full of information about you and your lives and her health issues were low on the list. Sue and Phil were such great supporters of ALPHA and me. I was so blessed to have their daughters as friends and students. You both taught me so much about giftedness and your abilities and needs. Your parents encouraged you to follow your passions and to be strong in your pursuit of your life choices. Your mom was always so proud of you and all of your accomplishments. You both did her proud! My hugs and sympathies go out to you at this tough moment. Embrace your wonderful memories! I hope to see you this spring at the Celebration of Life Memorial at UNI. I embrace your mom in my memories for all of her love and encouragement for gifted kids! Jewell
