Condolences
My sincere, heartfelt condolences to my dearest friend Bonnie, beautiful daughters Lizzie and Kate, as well as all of the Winslow and Garvin family members.
Bonnie:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your loss. We are privileged to get to know both Michael and both at the reunions in Iowa and Germany. We wish you all the best and pray that the burden you are carrying will be eased by knowing God sent his son whose birth we celebrate this holiday season. Much Love,
Bob and Peggy Koch
Bonnie Family & Friends. Its sad to lose someone in death. What helped me the most was prayers and faith in God’s promise at Psalm 34:18 “God is close to the broken heart: he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” For more comforting scriptures, please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. God’s Kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for will bring about these wonderful promises. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. If you wish to contact me at: ikeyes@msn.com
So sorry to hear this news, Bonnie. Prayers for you and your family.
To Michaels Family, I was so saddened to hear of Michaels death. I knew your husband, father, through the NL Rec Center, and more specifically the pool with water aerobics. He was a most positive and kind man who always had something positive and very interesting to say. He was so kind to me when I went thru a health issue and I will always be grateful for having known him. I will miss not seeing him come thru the pool doors anymore. I am so very sorry for you loss, my heartfelt prayers to you.

Dearest Bonnie, Katherine and Elizabeth...my heart is full of love for you. Your husband, father and my friend was the greatest spirit, so full of joy and genuine enthusiasm for the world and everyone around him. His zest for life was infectious...always scattering seeds of hope and sharing his wisdom and brilliance to make a difference. His precious smile and laughter lifted all. The stories he shared about all of you are some of my fondest memories. He said it's all about living life to the fullest, and that includes "spoiling my girls...cause that brings me no greater joy." I am there in spirit with you all, embracing you with the greatest of love.
I am so sorry for your loss. Michael was a great guy and good friend. Smart, intelligent and witty. Also, he was a great source of comfort and guidance for me during a period in my life that was difficult. He helped me see a way to a better life. He was a blessing to me and many others I am sure. May his family find peace in the memory of his life.
Oh Bonnie and sweet girls, this is all such a shock...but then as I want to make sense of it, a life amazingly lived. Entrepreneur, dreamer, designer, conscious, loving, kind and sweet...descriptors for you both! Mike was such a wonderful hubby and father and what a ride you have had. From the early days of your courtship and marriage you have been in focus and so very kind to one another. I am grateful to have shared a little bit along the way...and I walk with you in your times when the light is dimmed. We'll keep that lovely grinning Mike in our midst. Blessings as you move forward. I had the privilege of working with Mike for several years when he was at Audio Net. I will always remember him for his energy, honesty, and creativity. He was quick witted, easy to talk with, and had a big heart. To know Mike was to know he deeply loved Bonnie,Katherine, and Elizabeth. Thank you Mike for all that you did in life to help others. May God bless you with eternal love.

To the Garvins:
Mike was a wonderful and charismatic person who always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him. He was never without that smile and a good laugh always followed with a joke he may have told. He was always kind and thoughtful whenever we spoke and this would always make my day a little brighter. With him as my coach, I enjoyed playing soccer in AYSO, there was never a dull moment! His jokes were always hilarious, he could always make me and others smile and laugh whenever he told a funny story. His patience and generosity were endless and I thank him and all of you (Katie, Lizzie, Bonnie) for being so kind to my family and I. Whenever I think of him I'll always see his smiling face and while I may not not remember all that was said in our conversations, the positive emotions and pure happiness that was felt will always be there. I will never forget such a wonderful human being. My deepest condolences for your loss.
With Love,

Dear Bonnie and girls: Hank and I found this to be unbelievable this morning when we received the news. How well I remember when you got married and went to see Lotte and Leni and they explained your lovely photo and all about you both. What a sad loss this is for all of us as Mike was a super guy and I always knew how lucky his family was to have him. I remember his tricks with the children at our KSG Reunions and his "million dollar smile". This picture is definitely him. Now he is with the Lord helping him but he was far too young to leave us. Much love, Hank and Jan Koch
Bonnie, Katherine & Elizabeth:
Sending you prayers and best wishes as you mourn and celebrates Michael's life.

I was very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We worked together many years ago on the safe patient handling/ ergonomics program at UIHC. He always spoke so very highly of his family and was very proud to share updates about the girls. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
