I was so very sorry to hear that Pam had died. I lived in North Liberty for over 30 years and on most Sundays I went to the Pleasant View Lodge for breakfast and became good friends with Pam, Mary Ellen and Rosie. All three are the salt of the earth - warm, friendly, caring people. I miss regularly seeing all of them.

We used to go to The Lodge for breakfast, and occasionally for other meals, and loved when Pam doing the cooking. She definitely had a gift. Her hot beef sandwiches were supreme! Plus she was such a nice lady!

I had the great pleasure of meeting Pam at Windmill, my mother was a resident and Pam made her feel very welcome. Such a sweet lady with a wonderful smile and personality.

So sad to see she has passed but I know she is meeting all her friends in heaven with that smile.

Pam, was always a joy to be with,and a mentor in troubled times I will always miss her and her memory will endure
