My thoughts continue to be with you all. Such a sad loss for so many. I'm hoping that the new year will encourage you all to move forward knowing that with each day your memories will keep him alive. I regret not being in closer contact with my cousins over the years. Andy's passing has made me realize what I have been missing.
I will continue to pray for comfort and strength.
Andy's cousin, Rhonda
Andy was a great friend, and such a caring person. He sure loved his family. Also a huge fan of the Hawkeyes and the Packers! We had many lengthy chats about sports. Andy will be missed.
My prayers and thoughts are with Kathy and family.
Love,
Derek O'Brien
I wanted to pass along my condolences to Andy's family and to all his other family and friends.
My heartfelt condolences. A wonderful man.
Kathleen....no words can express my loss for our beloved Andy. I am so sorry, you changed his life, he has always been in my heart. Please know I think of you often and it is always with joy. You have supported Dan and Doug's cause and I love you for that. My heart breaks for you, your children and grandchildren. It is good the boys are back together?!
Love
Jane

My love and condolences go out to the family and friends of Andy. He was a great caring man who loved his sports. It is still unbelievable that he is gone. My stomach is sick to think we just celebrated his birthday just a couple months before this tragic news. The angels gained an amazing soul! you will be missed, until we meet again.

My thoughts and prayers to the entire family.
There are no words to tell your family how sorry I am to hear of Andy's passing. I waited on him everyday at West bank and he was always smiling and joking around. He was a dear friend and will be missed here at the Bank.
So sad to hear about Andy. We were friends growing up, but lost touch many years ago. I remember the house on Rocky Shore Drive and all the mischief we used to get into back at Central Junior High. Andy was devilishly handsome, always ready for an adventure, and a real badass on a Schwann Stingray.
To Family of Andy Meardon,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of Andy. I got to know him the last several years thru The Give Foundation and our NAIFA affiliation. I truly admired his dedication to the organizations and how much he cared about people. He will be missed immensely! My prayers and thoughts will be with you all.
Sincerely,
Randy J Kruse

I am at a loss of words! I am so sorry for your loss, I am here for you and your family. Please let me know if I can help in any way. My thoughts and prayers go out to you!
We were deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Andy's passing. Having only known him for a few years, the discription in the Obituary fits him to a tee. He was the person who jump started the Hills & Dales Charity Golf Outing that we have hosted in Clinton for the past 20 years. It was his enthusiasm that spearheaded record donations the last 2 years! Thanks Andy for your friendship....
My memories of Andy start in high school when he and Doug showed up so unexpectedly they didn't have lockers assigned to them. I had (for some quirky reason) a huge locker so I offered to share mine with them. We 3 became very close friends and remained that way to their final days. We played hard, laughed hard and shared some amazing life experienced together. Andy was such a charismatic and likable guy that our group of friends even named our "gang" after him, "The Don 7". Although there were more than 7 of us the name stuck and our close group of friends remained close like a band of brothers to this day. I regret that I didn't get to see or talk with Andy more since my move to Los Angeles but I will forever hold my memories of him and our friendship close to my heart. He was nicknamed "The King" by us for reason, he ruled in everything he did. Long live the King... may he rest in peace.

Oh honey, I just saw this! I have tears streaming down my face as I write this to you. You are way too young to lose your sweet Daddy. My heart aches for you and your family. I can only imagine how proud he was of you. You and I were both blessed with wonderful fathers and our lives are so much richer because of them. You have so many memories that you can cherish, this is one of the ways I have managed my grief. People will want to "do" anything for you, let them. Let them bring meals, run an errand for you, clean your house, sit and let you cry, just sit with you.......they need to help as much as you need to be loved on. I found comfort in hearing friends and family talk about my Dad,stories I had never heard before. Listen to the stories, from all parts of his life, it will help. I'm so very thankful you have your amazing husband, lean on him........and lean on the Lord, he loves you like none other. I am sending you hugs, prayers, if you ever want to talk I am here for you. It is a loss like no other, Daddies and their daughters.....
With a heavy heart I send you love,
Jana

I know that your hearts are all broken in pieces, as Andy is such a wonderful man and will be missed every day. Yet he will be in your hearts forever. May God comfort you in the future days. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Kathy and the family. I first met Andy in Ft Madison at a golf outing many years ago and he was such a friendly person. Over the years I enjoyed the comradeship and his fellowship. He was a person who cared about people and touched so many. Jim Bruhn and Debbie.
