Sonja,
I have known you since high school in Bismarck. You were a Demonette and you were a feisty gal since then! We lost touch until we moved to Rapid City and our lives were never the same! You hired me on at the Vision Center back in the early 1990's. Your smile was always vibrant, just as I can imagine it is now. You always had something up your sleeve and loved to have a good laugh. We cried together and laughed together many times. We both moved away and then we both moved close. You, Jeff and the kids spent many years on the farm in Hatton and those were some of the greatest times we had. Yeah, the kids acted up, and yeah they all had it coming (sometimes), but we lived through it all and we loved being together. We lost touch for some time and when you called again to tell me the news, you did not cry. You were always a tough cookie. You had everything in place and did not want anyone to cry for you. We laughed on the phone just like we were next door. We talked about the kids and the weather and your new house. I was so happy when I heard the news that the cancer was shrinking. But, I knew you were tired and hurting. I am so thankful you are no longer hurting, my friend. Until we meet again. Much love, LaVonne
My deepest sympathies to You all.. She will be missed so very much.. I hadn't seen her for years but always thought of her often. She was that one friend that touched your heart like no other.. I know that God brought her back into my life for a reason. The hardest part is he took her from us all way to soon.. May our savior hold you all so very close as another beautiful angel is watching over you all..
