Dear Sobaski Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I used to live close by in Village Green and remember the family well. Great people. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless you all!!
Dear Sobaski Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Bernard very well. The last time I saw him was at my daughter Kristina's wedding. I was married to David Sobaski. We went to Bernard and Betty's one time after we first got married. Lovely people. Once again I am sorry for you loss.

To the Sobaski Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of change and adjustment as you find new rhythms in your life.
Though I never had the personal pleasure of meeting him, Bernard must have been a very wonderful man from what I've read and from knowing his family and friends at Sobaski Abbey Carpet and Floor. He will be missed by many; however, what a gift he has left you with your special memories and to have had him in your lives.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. We will definitely miss Bernard's sense of humor.
Joe, Angela, and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Bernard's company was always enjoyable and he had a great sense of humor! We feel very privileged to have known him for the past 17 years. On our way to the store, we would see him going to pick up the mail, or fixing the chair, or asking us to help load something up on the truck. One of the many things that will be missed is the big smile he always had on his face. Even when times weren't easy, he continued to smile or crack a joke. Bernard was a great example for all of us! He will be greatly missed.
Joe and Angela....My heart goes out to you during this difficult time...Sending hugs and prayers to the whole Sobaski family!
To Bernard's siblings: I well remember your mother growing up and going to church in East Pleasant Plain - my mother was Bessie (Schoepfer) Earnest and, I believe, may have helped care for your grandmother in her younger years. My sympathy to you all. As the circle becomes smaller here, it is increasing in the heavens!! Peace surround you and Blessed Mother comfort you all.
Please accept our condolences on the passing of Bernard. It was an honor to have known and worked with him and Betty. Bernard was a very hard worker and always had a joke to tell. He taught me everything I knew about carpet cleaning after purchasing Sobaski Carpet Care in the 80's.
He loved to plant trees and eat ice cream. I now live in Texas, but will still miss my friend.
My prayers go out to your family.
Dear Joe, Angela and Kelly: My thoughts are with you in the loss of you father, father-in-law, and grandfather. May fond memories be a comfort to you at this time. Pam and Stewart Ehly
I did enjoy Bernard's sense of humor and keen business sense. One time while in the Back Store looking to purchase some living room furniture I kept returning to the same "purple" sofa. It was definitely unique and not the color one would normally purchase - you would have to have just the right decor to make it work. I was in love with it and knew I had to have it. Bernard laughed when he saw I had made up my mind, because apparently there had been another customer who kept returning to see if that "purple" sofa had been discounted yet due to it's color. The customer was sure at some point Bernard & Betty would have no choice to discount it to sell it.....Bernard laughed when I purchased it because the next time this customer would come to see about that sofa....it would be gone and Bernard would have won for standing firm on his product. He knew the right person would want that sofa and I'm so thankful he did because I'm still in love with that "purple" sofa 12 years later!!!
