My condolences to the family of Marian Ciha. My name is Melody Morris and I am a member of the Solon United Methodist. I felt a calling from God to join the Solon United Methodist Youth on a mission trip this past summer. Youth were divided up into groups and we visited locations in Wayne County, New York. The group I worked with went to a care center and visited and enjoyed the company of many residents. I spoke with Scott Kober our pastor and told him one of my goals for 2017 was to visit with residents at the Solon Care Center. He gave me the names of several residents from our church to visit with, including Marian. I was a little nervous getting started with this goal but I choice your mom to be the first one I visited with just a week ago Sunday. I had remembered Marian's involvement in our church so I felt she would be a great person to start my visits with. We had a wonderful visit about her growing up in Pennsylvania. She shared her love of her family and of black cats. We talked about the large one on her shelf and the one outside her window. It was National Strawberry Ice cream day and Marion enjoyed some ice cream while we visited. We talked about hymns. She sang hers to me and I shared the words of my favorite hymn with her. We prayed together before i left. I have very fond memories of Marian even if it was just for a brief visit. She was a wonderful lady! May all of you enjoy sharing your wonderful memories as well!

Dan, Colette, Adam and Lisa and the entire Ciha Family:
Our thoughts go out to you as you celebrate Marian's life. I know the importance of having a nurse the family, my mother is a retired RN. They are always the first you ran to when you had scrapes, bumps or bruises. I am sure Marian touched many lives working in developmental disabilities. It takes special people to help others in that field.
All my best,
Johnny Moller
