Joe and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
To all of Don's Family,
Myrn & family:
Deb and I both send our thoughts, prayers and condolences to you all and will keep you in our prayers. Don was such a special person and, even now, I can imagine him sharing a favorite humorous story with our Lord.
His dedication to youth in general and his family in particular shone like a bright light and I will miss him greatly. The Boy Scout Eagle ceremonial prop that he, Joe and Jeff made has been used for every Eagle award ceremony in Troop 216 (and borrowed for other area Troops) after Joe's Eagle. It remains a central scout memory for the 30+ Eagle scouts from T216 that have come after Joe as well as countless other scouting participants. That is a unique and powerful impact to the youth of North Liberty and beyond and doesn't even count his other areas of youth services-- typical of Don's dedication. It will take a lot to fill his shoes and yet I see great promise in what he has left behind.

Myrna and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I wish I could be there to give Myrna a big hug. I enjoyed having Myrna as a nurse manager and getting to know Don at that time. And then when Jim helped get your home under roof. Don was very talented to finish it for his family.
Gordon Family,
